Vasant Panchami is also known as Basant Panchami and it occurs every year of the fifth day of the Lunar Eclipse in the Hindu calendar of spring.

 
This festival is observed every year either during January or February. This also marks the beginning of the spring season and this alone is a big reason to rejoice and celebrate.
